Laser vein removal treatments are a safe, non-surgical method for removing spider veins and broken blood vessels. Low energy laser-light is applied to the skin, passing harmlessly into the deeper 'dermal' layers. Upon reaching a blood vessel the laser-light delivers a controlled amount of therapeutic heat to the targeted blood vessels causing them to close and eventually fade from sight.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR TREATMENT?
Avoid prolonged sun exposure on the treatment area for 2-3 weeks before laser treatment. Advise your laser practitioner about any medications/supplements you are taking/have taken in the last 6 months.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER A LASER VEIN REMOVAL TREATMENT?
Immediately following your laser treatment, redness and mild swelling are often noted in the treated areas. Over the next few days, the treated areas may remain slightly swollen and localized bruising MAY appear. This is considered part of the 'normal-healing' process and usually lasts for a short time.
ARE THERE SIDE EFFECTS?
Laser vein removal treatments are safe and effective. Most people experience little discomfort and often resume daily activities immediately. Temporary side effects usually resolve in a short amount of time and may include: redness, bruising, swelling, localized discomfort, blistering and changes in skin color. Permanent side effects are rare.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
The number of laser treatment sessions required for acceptable vein reduction depends on the size and location of the veins being treated. Most clients achieve acceptable removal with 1-3 treatments.
